easy on paper it may seem to be considering the fact that Sunderland were just recently perpetual victims who suffered a trashing of eight goals at the hands of Southampton, yes its soton that managed to score all that load of goals again Sunderland , somewhat i dint expect the turn out of the match to be like that especially having known the way Sunderland have been playing so good at the premier league in the previous seasons, and furthermore no one really thought that soton could have managed to score such a margin against Sunderland. The question looming within me is where were the Lee cattermoles ? the likes of John o'shea ?
anyway that aside the fact of the matter why i run through this recent defeat of Sunderland is just but a imputation of Sunderland being an easy outfit to play against. but only on paper do they seem quite an easy opponent as it stands out to be Sunderland have been known to at least hold onto themselves and stand out to be a hard team to crack through, but how did Soton manage to go trough them in quick rushy successive goal after goal. the challenge now remains for the arsenal to unlock them out too and come out with the three points, at least its all that we need after all.
As a football fan i will defiently expect Sunderland to come out and fight out for their reputation and yes arsenal is that gigantic obstacle just in-front of them, so putting in mind that after the eight goal thriller they recently faced even Guss Poyet has a point to prove, especially after he himself said that he is still delighted to be in-charge and that if it was another team immediately after such a score line the manager could have been axed, but that seems to be not the case with Sunderland cos he is still the man in charge of it all and hence this sends a statement of content that he will really want to prove that it was only by chance that they managed to succumb to such a score line against soton. hence the man at the helm is so much aware of what he needs to do in order to stop his critic, the hurdle standing between him and that is the arsenal. So what should we expect will be genius approach that he is intending to use in order to stand out against the arsenal.
The motivation does not only fall to the manager but also to the players at large for them to perform especially after their graceful act of the fans being refunded after failing to be entertained by their team during the weekend , so apparently the players also will be playing out their heart against arsenal because they have the fans to impress and also they have a reputation to hold on for the world of football to see their quality, and yes its arsenal that is standing before them, its the hurdle they have to go past in order to attain their achievements as above mentioned. On the other hand its the arsenal. yes the best team the world has ever seen and yes we are facing an opponent that has been a victim of malicious marrouding by a classic soton. its a must win game for the arsenal also and i particularly as an arsenal fan would really like it to be an emphatic win, yes i hate the fact that united are just merely above us on the table standings and i would really want us to win emphatically to reclaim our upper hand against them putting in mind that they are facing a rampant Chelsea on Sunday.
IS ARSENAL UP-TO TO THE TASK?
the question looming within us is now are we up-to the level we need so us to provide get that emphatic win i really desire, well that comes down to our players yes and the spirit and motivation they will have when facing Sunderland tomorrow. evidently speaking we have been quite poor at defending in the past two game; is it the Monreal effect? that i leave for you to consider but my assessment would be why are we playing him in the central defence when we have chamber who can play that part and yes Ballerin has been decent at right back so I have no objection of playing chambers central and Ballerin at the right back position..that i leave for you to analyze as introspectively. but looking back at our last two games we have conceded goals that are cheap for a team of arsenals caliber to concede , will Sunderland be looking at how we have been leaking free goals for opponents and tend to use that at their advantage, mark you they have Walters who can actually cause us quite some trouble on our goal, not forget the speed of Adam Johnson who could really use his pace against our very own one very slow number 4 am talking about Mertesacker, yes the man who i once heard that we need to improve on our defensive techniques and he falls victim of circumstance when he allows an opposition player a free header in our six yard box, yes that the man we really need him to stump up his defensive authority for us to get all the maximum points against especially due to the absence of Koscienly at the back. But then following his comments i really count on him to stand out to be our main man tomorrow."
“Everyone knows that it was a difficult start for us and our
confidence is not where we want it to be,” the defender admitted. “The
character is good, the mentality is good but, football-wise, we lack a
few things.“Our passing game is not as efficient as last year. We have to admit we are not at our best, be honest with ourselves and train harder.
“We have to do better with our own possession to put more pressure on the [opposition], not lose so many balls in the middle of the park and play more in the wide areas. However, the finishing is just great at the moment and that keeps me believing and in a good mood.
“Everyone was really happy after the game and that creates belief and togetherness. That really helps us come back to full strength.”
so according to Mertesacker he knows that our confidence is not where we want it to be and am quite happy he did notice that because as the leader within the team i really want him to be the guy to motivate all the other player to play out their all against Sunderland so that we could get that precious win we really want right now.

One issue that is really putting me of is the suspension of Jack Wilshere, yes he is suspended for the game albeit not scoring a lot of goals i always like the impact that jack does put in in the football pitch especially when we are not playing at our best he always tries to ensure that our midfield clickks and performs, he will be a big miss for the game on Saturday.Anyway, despite all the ooze of that i really expect arsenal to win this game keeping in mind that we have a better win ration when it comes head to head against Sunderland in the previous season.
